Back in the day you could see the protester march down the 16th street mall, Now they do it with escorts of police walking along side of them. The free speech zone or what ever they call it ,is away from the main even in a cage area and the way they have it setup seems they did it to intimidate the protesters. Its still a hot mess down their in downtown denver.

In other news Bangkok Protests, i stumbled onto this, this video i beleive is a bit old from current news they have taken some of the Tv station.

"STORY:
The People's Alliance for Democracy or PAD, is a party of businessmen, academics and royalists called for hundreds of thousands to join their "D-Day" rally today. But they were met by thousands of police, backed with water cannons and tear gas were out to stop them. Authorities pushed and shoved demonstrators as they marched towards Government House.

PAD's aim is to force the five-month old government from power.

Police expected only 14,000 demonstrators to turn up. They say they are prepared to use force if necessary.

Fears of clashes last month stoked rumors of another military coup. But the Chief of Police says "PAD" leaders should abandon their aim to lay siege to Government House.

Police were brought in from all over the country. At least eight barricades of crash barriers and prison trucks are set up around the government compound. "

Getting to work was cake no traffic actually made it early, Lunch time is a mess 16 st mall is packed , you have so many cops patrolling in full gear . You have a couple of snipers on top of buildings. The only protest i caught was the anti war one but that was just the tale end since i had to go back to work . You do hear lots of sirens going on more than usal hah.


I forgot to mention I did notice the war protesters did turn of 16th street , I dont know if the cops forced them of 16th street mall or that was their route.
